Christian Neumeyr (CEO) has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and optoelectronics industry, incl. 25+ years in optical communications and 20+ years in sensing and industrial applications. He holds a university degree in electrical engineering and an MBA and has held executive positions at a number of leading and innovative technology companies, incl. Marketing Director at Infineon, Vice President at Multilink Technology and Director Business Line at Broadcom. His professional accomplishments include managing complex R&D projects, establishing and managing fast‐growing and profitable product lines and expanding businesses into new markets.
Vertical Surface Emitting Lasers (VCSEL) based on GaAs material achieved great success in short wavelength applications. For wavelengths at or beyond 1.3 µm, mostly InP material based edge emitting lasers are being deployed. With our InP VCSEL technology, we can combine the benefits of short wavelength VCSELs and long wavelength edge emitters. This includes single mode or multi mode characteristics, single emitters as well as 1D and 2D arrays, with a wavelength range from 1.3 µm to 2.3 µm. These lasers can be deployed in high data rate single mode optical data communications applications, as well as gas sensing and 3D sensing markets.
